International Student Organization

The International Student Organization (ISO) is a group that aims to increase the understanding of cultural differences.  ISO consists of international students as well as American students at Shippensburg University.  If you are interested in joining the organization, please attend one of the general meetings.

The International Student Lounge is located in the Ceddia Union Building Room 234.  Students are welcome to stop by and hang out!  Fall event information will be coming out in August.

Mission

Our mission is to increase the understanding of cultural differences and to encourage communication with American students as well as among international students at Shippensburg University.

Vision

Our vision is to connect international students when they first arrive on campus. We provide support and understanding as they start a new chapter in their lives and getting to know a new culture.

Networking is important which is why we focus a lot on getting new students involved, whether it be our organization or getting to know them in order to recommend other clubs and involvements on campus.
