Activate your Ship Admissions Account and set a password by following the instructions in Step 1. If you have already done this, proceed to Step 2.

Step 1: To activate your Ship Admissions Account and set a password:

• Log in to your Ship Admissions Account
• Follow the instructions under "Activate Your Ship Account"

 Step 2: For step by step instructions on accessing your MyShip Experience account to view your financial aid requirements or aid offer, click on the options below.

1. Log in with your Ship email and password that you created.
2. For ACCEPTED STUDENTS click on the "Financial Aid - Accepted Students" box.  For CONFIRMED STUDENTS click on the "Financial Aid" box.
3. Click on "Financial Aid System" and then click on "Student Requirements" to view your Unsatisfied Requirements.    
4. If your FAFSA is selected to "Verify," you will click on the link to https://ship.studentforms.com to create your account and view your Financial Aid tasks.
5. Upload all required documents as soon as possible so you may receive your Financial Aid Offer as soon as possible.
6. Please allow for processing time. 

1. Log in with your Ship email and password that you created.
2. For ACCEPTED STUDENTS click on the "Financial Aid - Accepted Students" box.  For CONFIRMED STUDENTS click on the "Financial Aid" box.
3. If you have received a financial aid offer email, click on "Financial Aid System" and then click on "Options for Accept Award Offers" and then click on the "Offer" tab.    
4. All the aid currently offered will be listed. 
5. You must ACCEPT your federal direct student loan (either the full amount or a partial amount) or DECLINE your federal direct student loans offered and click SUBMIT.
6. All grants and scholarships (free money) are automatically in the “Accepted” status for you.
7. For any Direct Subsidized or Unsubsidized Loans you have accepted you will need to complete BOTH Entrance Counseling AND a MASTER PROMISSORY NOTE (MPN), if you are a first time borrower at Shippensburg University. (Please note, under "Student Requirements", only the Entrance Counseling requirement will appear. After you complete the Entrance Counseling, you MUST also complete the Master Promissory Note.) If you wish, you can complete both these requirements now at https://studentaid.gov.  Log in using the same student FSA ID and password you used to sign the FAFSA.  
8. Allow processing time after you have completed these documents for them to appear as received in myShip Experience.
