Commuter Lounge
The lounge in CUB 209 is a great place to hang out when you have down time on campus. There is a kitchenette to store and make food, comfortable furniture, tables, computers, and more. The lounge is available during the CUB’s normal hours for all commuter, non-traditional, and graduate students to:
- Recharge
- Eat
- Study
- Use a computer
- Print out assignments
- Play board games
- Meet other commuter students
When using the lounge, we ask that you please take care of the space and share it well with other students by:
- Leaving the lounge as you found it
- Cleaning up any messes
- Washing your dishes
- Throwing out your old food from the fridge
- Keeping the doors shut and not giving out the code publicly
- Maintaining a considerate volume
- Treating the lounge resources with care
- Respecting others’ space and belongings
Please note that you are responsible for your belongings, and we are not liable for any lost items.
If you need the passcode, there is a QR code outside of the lounge you can scan for a quick form that will grant you access to the code. You can also email commute@ship.edu by clicking on the to get the code and to notify someone of any lounge needs such as printer paper, dish soap, etc.
