Compliance and Reporting

We are committed to providing a valuable and safe fraternity and sorority experience. As such, we evaluate each organization annually through our Fraternity and Sorority Chapter Evaluation program. Each organization is assessed based on their completion of minimum compliance requirements and progress toward goals in our seven Community Standards:

  1. Intellectual Advancement
  2. Personal Development
  3. Sense of Belonging
  4. Inclusive Leadership
  5. Social Responsibility
  6. Community Impact
  7. Organizational Management

For more information about the annual evaluation process, please see the 2024 Chapter Evaluation packet.

Organizational Misconduct

The Student Code of Conduct applies to all student organizations as well as individual students. If you have information about an alleged violation involving a fraternity or sorority, please submit one of the following reporting forms that most closely aligns with the incident:

We aim to be transparent regarding the history of an organization's misconduct. Here you can view the University's Hazing Report which documents all allegations reported over the last five years and the resulting outcome. You can also view individual fraternity and sorority conduct records on their separate web pages.

Formerly Recognized Chapters

Fraternities and sororities formerly on campus may no longer be recognized for various reasons. Some may be from low membership due to attrition and others may be closed as the outcome of a conduct case for health and safety reasons. Below is a list of organizations that previously had recognition within the last few years but are no longer active.

  • Alpha Sigma Tau (ΑΣΤ): Recognition revoked by Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority Headquarters as of 10/29/23
  • Lambda Chi Alpha (ΛΧΑ)
  • Tau Kappa Epsilon (ΤΚΕ)
