Submit Official Transcripts
One official transcript from every college and university attended, except from Shippensburg University. Official transcripts must be sent directly to SU from the college/university you attended. Transcripts sent to students and forwarded to SU are not official and will not be accepted. See the FAQs below for specific instructions.

Graduate Assistantships
Shippensburg University provides financial assistance to graduate students through graduate assistantships (GAs), student life graduate assistantships (SLGAs), graduate residence director appointments, and student loans.
Employer Reimbursement
For students who will be receiving tuition reimbursement from an employer at the completion of the semester, please fill out the Employer Reimbursement Deferment Form.
Veterans Benefits
Shippensburg University’s Veterans Benefits Office certifies enrollment for graduate students who are eligible for veterans’ education benefits.
Financial Aid for Grad Students
Like undergraduate students, any graduate or professional student who needs assistance from the U.S. Department of Education to pay for classes must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year. Graduate and professional students are considered independent students and do not have to provide their parents' tax information on the FAFSA.

Graduate Success Center
The Graduate Success Center (GSC) was established to help grad students develop academically and to foster an enjoyable graduate school experience.
Graduate Writing Center
The Graduate Writing Center supports graduate students across courses and disciplines in their development as writers. Services are free and available to all graduate students across courses and disciplines. Appointments are driven by the writer's assignment and goals. The Graduate Writing Center helps with assignments ranging from informal personal response papers to formal research methodologies.
Graduate Housing
Shippensburg University offers campus housing in Mowrey Hall for graduate students without high costs and with the independence offered from off-campus living. Housing is available during all breaks during the academic year; students are not required to move out during fall, Thanksgiving, winter, or spring break.
