Application for Current Shippensburg Students
The Wood Honors College at Shippensburg University engages talented and motivated students inside and outside the classroom. The Honors College involves undergraduate students from every major and class level. Through innovative Honors classes and enriching co-curricular experiences—including research, study abroad, leadership, and service opportunities—the Honors College prepares students to achieve their academic and professional goals.
The Wood Honors College welcomes applications from outstanding students who will thrive in an atmosphere of creative learning and intellectual exploration. Current first-year and sophomore Shippensburg students with a minimum 3.25 QPA are eligible to apply for admission to the Wood Honors College. To apply, please complete and submit the following application. The application deadline for spring semester admission is January 5, and the application deadline for fall semester admissions is May 1. Students admitted to the College will consult with the Honors staff before the semester begins to revise their class schedules to include Honors courses.
