Hey! My name is Nishi and I’m a Pre-Med Biology major, with minors in Biochemistry and Psychology. I was born and raised in the big city of Toronto, Canada, but I moved to the little town of Shippensburg ten years ago and fell in love with the community. When it came to deciding where to pursue my undergrad, staying in Shippensburg was the best fit for me! Not only did the community feel encourage my decision, but the opportunities provided by my major and the Wood Honors College really drew me in. When I’m not in class or doing homework, I am an Honors Ambassador, a member of the Biological Honors Society, and part of Reach Out. In my free time, I volunteer with the American Red Cross and in the Emergency Department at the local hospital with the hopes of giving back to my local community.
