Computer Science Department
The Computer Science Department is big enough to have fun toys to play with, but small enough that the faculty know everyone; big enough to have a variety of programs, but small enough to keep our classes comfortable; big enough to have lots of academic options and extracurricular activities; but small enough to keep everyone connected.
Undergraduate Programs
Computer Science Major - The Computer Science degree program, accredited by the CAC Accreditation Commission of ABET, is designed to introduce students to a wide range of problems and how to implement solutions to these problems as programs. With careful planning, our advanced undergraduate students can complete our MS in Computer Science with only one additional year of study.
Computer Science Minor - Combining a Computer Science Minor with any other field is a great way to distinguish yourself and open new doors. People in every field need someone who can write programs and deploy technology for them.
Graduate Programs
Master of Science in Computer Science - This broad program helps students pursue the discipline in more depth than an undergraduate degree. With foundation courses like Algorithms, Computer Architecture, and Operating Systems combined with advanced courses in Computer Security, Software Engineering, High Performance Computing, and Data Mining, graduates of this program will be able to lead software development in challenging applications.
