ROTC Scholarships
There are many scholarship opportunities for ROTC students that assist with many of the financial obligations of a college education.
Benefits
- Full tuition and fees (either in or out of state) or housing and food
- Can be used in conjunction with other scholarships
- $1200 per year book allowance
- Monthly allowance of $420 while attending class
- Commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army upon graduation, with service in the Active Duty Army, Army Reserves, or Army National Guard
- Marketable leadership skills and experience
Commitment
There is an eight year service commitment, which can be served in the following ways:
- At least four years on Active Duty, with the remainder served as a part-time officer in the National Guard or Army Reserves
- At least four years on Active Duty, with the remainder served in the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR)
- Eight years of part-time service in the Army Reserves or Army National Guard
