College of Arts & Sciences Internships
Almost all of the programs in the College offer internship opportunities to help its students prepare and make contacts for future employment. The practical hands-on nature of an internship is valuable in helping students gain professional experience and apply the skills they have acquired through their studies at Shippensburg University. If you are eager to learn more about the ins and outs of working in the public or private sector before you graduate, then this academic option may be for you.
Internships in the College of Arts and Sciences begin in the department. Please see your department chair or advisor for more information. Internships for credit must be approved by the College of Arts and Sciences.
Please be mindful of these deadlines as you complete your Internship Application:
- For spring - December 1
- For summer - May 1
- For fall - June 1
