Ethnic Studies Program
The Ethnic Studies program is an interdisciplinary minor which focuses on the history, culture and contributions of American ethnic groups. Through an understanding and appreciation of other people's ethnic and cultural backgrounds, students can gain an understanding of the multiple realities of our complex and diverse society.

Ethnic Studies Support Programs
Ethnic Studies students who want the opportunity to put theories about multiculturalism into practice may choose to become involved in the numerous activities offered and sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs and the Office of Equity, Inclusion and Compliance. We also work as a team with other departments and interdisciplinary programs on campus organizing events and activities. In addition to this, the Ethnic Studies program participates in the activities organized by students from the Latino Student Organization and other clubs and groups on campus that enhance the awareness of different cultures in order to promote diversity.
