Allie Abel
Hello, my name is Allie Abel, and I am a Senior Finance Major. My experience with IMP has greatly expanded my knowledge and experience when it comes to investment research and analysis. Not only is this program an exceptional opportunity to manage a real-dollar portfolio, but also an opportunity to collaborate with my highly skilled peers. Outside of my academics, I am currently an intern for the Internal Controls department at Martin’s Famous Pastry Shoppe where I assist with assessing risk exposure, process improvements, and ensuring compliance with company policy to deter and detect fraud. Following graduation in May 2025, I plan to start my career in the finance industry.

Caleb Elder
Hello, my name is Caleb Elder. I am a Senior Finance Major here at Shippensburg University. Outside of school, I am a member of the Theta Chi fraternity and a rotational intern at JLG Industries. As a rotational intern I have gained experience in the accounting, credit and collection, global procurement and supply chain, and financial analysis departments. After school I plan to find a job that allows me to apply the skills I have learned from my internship and the IMP program.

Caleb Owens
Hello, my name is Caleb Owens, and I am currently a Junior Finance major at Shippensburg University. The Investment Management Program (IMP) has greatly enhanced my understanding of economic indicators and their influence on the market, as well as the strategies involved in managing an investment portfolio. In addition to serving as the marketing lead for IMP, I hold several leadership positions on campus, including Vice President of Administration for the Xi Tau Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi and Senator for the John L. Grove College of Business. I am also a former Economist for the Investment Club, a former member of the Budget and Finance Committee, and a current member of Beta Gamma Sigma. Since January 2023, I have been working as a Remarketing Intern at Volvo Construction Equipment, gaining practical industry experience. Upon graduating in December 2025, I aspire to pursue a career in financial analysis.

Devon Yocum
Hello, my name is Devon Yocum, and I am currently a Senior Finance major at Shippensburg University. Thus far, my participation in the Investment Management Program has provided perception, pragmaticism, and a calculated approach in actively managing the Wisman Fund. My participation within the program improved my disciplined investor rationale, in consideration of continuous following of recent market news and trends in attempt to create leverage within the Wisman Fund. As of the summer of 2024, I have interned within Advantage Construction, as a financial advisor, located in North-Eastern Pennsylvania. Within my personal life, I manage the funds for two prestigious on-campus organizations. I look forward and am thankful and grateful for this renowned opportunity.

Kade Arnold
Hello, my name is Kade Arnold. I’m currently a senior majoring in finance with a concentration in personal financial planning, and I’m set to graduate in May 2025. In addition to my involvement in the Investment Management Program, I am also a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. After graduation, my goal is to build a successful career in finance and contribute meaningfully to the industry. This is my first semester in this class, and I’m excited to expand my knowledge and refine my skills for the future.

Lauren Mantz
Hello! My name is Lauren Mantz and I am a senior Finance major and Data Science minor at Shippensburg University. I am delighted to be a new member of the Investment Management Program, where I will gain valuable insights and hands-on experience that will enhance my future career. Currently, I am a Data Analytics Intern for the Internal Audit team at Air Products. Upon graduation in May 2025, I plan to pursue a career in corporate finance, leveraging both my financial and data analytics skill sets.

Tyler Sanders
My name is Tyler Sanders, and I am currently a Senior Finance Major with a Minor in Data Science at Shippensburg University. After graduating in May 2025, I am looking to explore options for a position in the analyst field. During my time at Shippensburg University, my growing interest in the finance world led me to pursue a more technical skillset, which is why I added a Data Science minor at the beginning of my junior year. The IMP has provided me an opportunity to further my real-world skills in communication, collaboration, analyzing, and problem-solving. I look forward to furthering my education of finance through the IMP at Shippensburg University.

Bradin Peart
My name is Bradin Peart, and I am a junior in finance (pfp) and an accounting major. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Investment Management Program this semester. Outside of the IMP, I am involved in multiple intramural teams and the golf club.

Kyle Saylor
My name is Kyle Saylor and I am a senior finance major here at Shippensburg University. I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to be a new member of the Investment Management Program. I will use this opportunity to expand my understanding of investment approaches and the economy, while using data and research to manage a real-dollar portfolio. The past two summers I have worked as an indirect lending intern with First Commonwealth Bank, gaining experience with loans in an administrative position. After school, I hope to combine my skills I learned from my internship and will learn from the IMP to start my career in finance.

Ryan Wolfe
My name is Ryan Wolfe, and I am a junior accounting and finance major. I am a new member of the Investment Management Program and am excited to learn about everything the course offers. I am also a student-athlete on the cross country and track and field teams, as well as the secretary for the Accounting Club at Shippensburg. This past summer, I was a tax accounting intern for Smoker & Company LLC. In the future, I am looking towards pursuing my MBA and becoming a CPA.

Sean Baer
My name is Sean Baer, and I am a senior finance major. The Investment Management Program allows me to apply the knowledge I have gained in my finance classes to a real-world investment portfolio. My transfer to Shippensburg after my Sophomore year has been a great experience and I am grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of this class. Outside of IMP, I am a year-round finance intern at JLG Industries in Hagerstown, MD. During my internship, I experienced roles in International Accounting, Global Procurement and Supply Chain, Credit and Collections, and Accounts Payable departments. In the future, I am looking forward to the opportunities given to me at JLG while also continuing to invest in my future.
