Sync E-mail on a Samsung Android smartphone
Shippensburg University supports the use of most Android smartphones for sending and receiving university e-mail. Samsung smartphones handle e-mail accounts somewhat differently that most Android devices. In order to set up a Samsung Android-based phone with our Exchange mail server, you will need to use the following settings after selecting Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync for the account type.
Account type: Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync (or "Corporate")
Email: Your Ship e-mail address (i.e. ab1234@ship.edu)
Password: Your Ship password
Mail Server: mail.ship.edu
