The Institute for public Service and Sponsored Programs has many funding opportunities available, including internal grants, external grants and fellowships.
Internal Grants

- SPINsearch engine can help you find grants. Follow the steps to create your own user account so you can save searches; contact ipssp@ship.edu for assistance
- Grant Seeking recording is available. Learn how to use our grant search tools SPIN and Grants Resource Center. Margaret Light, director of Institute for Public service and Sponsored Programs, demonstrates grant searches and discusses grant seeking in general.
- The Grants Resource Center (GRC) provides a wide array of resources, including grant opportunity announcements, to help with proposal development and grant management. To use GRC you must create a new individual AASCU account using this link. Email ipssp@ship.edu or call extension 1251 for login assistance.
- Faculty Fellowships and Development
- Chesapeake Watershed Ecological Studies Unit (CW CESU)promotes stewardship and integrated ecosystem management of natural and cultural resources within the Chesapeake Watershed through collaborative research, technical assistance and education.
