Mission Statement
The mission of Administration and Finance is to create and maintain an effective and efficient living and learning environment by supporting Shippensburg University’s students, faculty, and staff through the development and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services in financial stewardship, facilities management and planning, human resources, public safety, and administrative support.

Goals
Budget and Finance: Develop and maintain resource management systems and procedures that in addition to being customer service oriented are efficient, effective and assure sufficient accountability and compliance with all applicable laws and policies.
Facilities and Planning: Provide quality, timely, cost-effective operation, maintenance, and construction of facilities to the maximum extent allowed by statutory, administrative and fiscal limitations, giving priority to work in direct support of the University mission and work required to safeguard life and property.
Human Resources: To continue to provide timely, accurate and effective support to Shippensburg University employees and students by providing services in the areas of recruitment and placement, classification and compensation, payroll, personnel transactions and recordkeeping, employee benefits and services, employee and labor relations, legal compliance, and training and staff.
Public Safety: To continue to provide a safe environment by dedicating ourselves to raising our level of preparedness to meet the needs of today and the challenges of tomorrow; sustaining a working partnership with our campus community to improve the quality of life.
