Friday, May 30
Class of 1975 Fiftieth Class Reunion
Friday, 4:15PM – Happy fiftieth! Catch up with classmates during cocktail hour. After hors d'oeuvres and drinks, your reunion dinner and 50th recognition program begins at 5:15PM. During the program you’ll receive your Golden Raider medallion, a fiftieth reunion pin and a reunion memory booklet. Dinner includes salad, sides, dessert, and entrée selection of flank steak w/mushroom cream sauce, chicken bruschetta, or vegetable lasagna. Dressy casual attire. Advanced registration required. $15 for class members; $30 spouse/guest
Then after the reunion, take part in an evening Swing dance lesson at the Luhrs Center. On Saturday, enjoy an array of activities including a Plant & Sip workshop, the Golden Raider Lunch, an ice cream social, the annual SU Night Dinner, along with a reunion for fraternity & sorority life alumni.

This luncheon is for alumni who have celebrated their fiftieth reunions, including the newly inducted Class of 1975. Relax with classmates and enjoy a served lunch choice of grilled parmesan chicken sandwich, grilled cheddar bacon turkey melt, or fresh berry salad with feta and grilled chicken. Meals served with cream of broccoli soup and dessert.
Eight Annual All-GREEK Alumni Reunion
Saturday 1:00PM - 4:00PM, Harley Hall Lawn, $25/adults
You know the feeling. The one you get when you arrive in Shippensburg. The feeling that builds when you turn onto Prince Street, arrive on campus, and spot Old Main. That same feeling you have when you see your sorority sisters or fraternity brothers, and the rest of your extended Greek Family. The feeling that lasts all weekend long, making you smile, laugh, and reminisce about your days as an undergrad. What is that feeling? It Feels Like Coming HOME! HOw could you possibly Miss this Event? Looking forward to seeing you for the 8th Annual All-Greek Reunion! Ages 21 and older only please.
Includes music by DJ Mike J, 2025 t-shirt & more. Outdoor picnic includes beer, wine, soda, & water. Please bring camping chairs for seating. Each group may bring a pop-up tent no larger than 10x10 in designated area (refer to on-site map).
Please note: All registrants for the Saturday afternoon Greek Reunion will receive a wristband. Wristbands MUST be worn and displayed at all times. Your wristband confirms you are registered for the Greek reunion and that you are 21 years of age or older.

SHIPPO 20th Anniversary Party

Twenty years ago, the VOTE SHIPPO movement was created by the Committee to Elect The Shippo after the upset of the 2005 mascot madness competition. Big Red, the red-tailed hawk won that mascot vote, but not without controversy. Urban legend has it Shippo actually won! In 2023, Shippo the Hippo was announced as the new mascot replacing Big Red in what was an April Fools Day joke. Since that time, Shippo has taken a place next to Big Red as first mate. Join us at Shippo’s 20th anniversary party for cake, music, and of course, Shippo give-aways!

Luhrs Performing Arts Center Tour, Friday 1:30PM
Join us for a unique behind-the-scenes view of the Luhrs Performing Arts Center! Highlights include the history of the center, architectural and construction highlights, audio/visual equipment highlights, a visit to the Grove Theatre, stage, green room, VIP dressing rooms, offices, and control booth. Please allow 45 minutes.
Pubs and Grubs Downtown Tour, Friday, 7:00PM - Midnight. Departs from Harley Hall, $10
Purchase your wristband for the bus to visit old haunts and see what’s new. Bus runs on a continuous loop and departs Harley Hall at 7:00PM, followed by pick-ups at the Courtyard by Marriott and Clarion Hotel & Suites. Includes drop-off/pick-up by request to Parx Casino. Driver’s license required for pub entry.

Take a walk on the Rail Trail Sculpture Path
The paved walkway starts at the intersection of Earl & Fort Streets, better known as the grass triangle down the hill from Old Main. On your stroll, read about the sculptures along the trail created by Professor Steve Dolbin’s sculpture classes. Then walk thru the restored boxcars, part of the Cumberland Valley Railroad Museum and Conrail Historical Society Museum at the Shippensburg Station. **The trailhead and museum are accessible via a short walk down the paved walkway from Old Main. Parking is available across the street from the museum.
Cumberland Valley Railroad & Conrail Historical Society Museums
Open Dawn to Dusk – Shippensburg Station. Built in restored boxcars, tour the museums located at the intersection of Earl and Fort Streets. The boxcars feature professionally-curated exhibits. Learn more about the area’s rich railroad history!

NEW: Swing DANCE LESSON with a Little Latin, Friday, 7:30PM - 8:30PM, Luhrs Performing Arts Center stage, $5/person
Seasoned dance instructor, Frank Hancock, will have you moving across the dance floor on the Luhrs Center stage by the end of this one-hour fun dance lesson. Combine the footwork of swing with dance styles like salsa, cha-cha, and mambo. Both singles and couples are welcome. No dance experience required.

Enjoy mimosas/orange juice with Ariana from The Little Greenhouse for our macrame plant hanger workshop. You’ll be provided with all the materials and step by step instructions needed to create your very own macrame plant hanger (includes plant, pot, & hanger). Please allow 60 – 90 minutes and register in advance.

Join President Charles Patterson and First Lady Colleen for a crab, shrimp, chicken, and rib dinner (vegetarian option will be available). Registration is required, and tickets will be mailed to you. Dinner is held outside and dress is casual. Food cannot leave the premises. A limited number of tickets may be purchased the day of event. No early admission-entry begins at 5:15PM.
Alumni DJ Dance Party, Saturday 7:00PM-10:00PM, Harley Hall Lawn
This is the ultimate DJ party for alumni to come together and celebrate the culmination of Alumni Weekend. Don’t miss this epic night of music, dancing and good vibes under the lighted tents outside Harley Hall. Soft beverages provided, BYOB permitted.

These are just a few of the fantastic songs from “Three American Troubadours” -- a production that celebrates the lives and careers of 6-time Grammy winner James Taylor, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Carly Simon with 13 top 40 hits, and Carole King who wrote or co-wrote 118 Billboard Hot 100 pop hits-- 3 iconic American singer/songwriters whose personal lives and careers have intertwined throughout the years, and whose memorable hit songs continue to offer ageless inspiration.
Produced by Oscar and Golden Globe winner Franke Previte, co-writer of “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” and “Hungry Eyes” from the movie ‘’Dirty Dancing’’ and managed by Lee Shapiro, former music director of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, the show features 3 powerhouse vocalists, a 6-piece band, engaging storytelling and multi-media. - 2 Bedroom: Sleeps 4 (Has 4 twin beds in 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms)
NOTE: You must bring linens for your bed, blanket if you need one, a pillow, and a bath towel and your toiletries. These items are not provided. No refrigerators are provided in rooms.

- Advanced registrations are needed for all meals served to ensure adequate seating and quantity of food ordered.
- Requests for on-campus lodging closes May 19. Requests after May 19 at noon may not be able to be accommodated.
- Refunds for on-campus lodging, meals, and activities are not able to be processed after May 19 due to our financial commitments.
Registration Information. While some activities are complimentary, many have associated costs to attend. Even if events you choose do not require a fee, you should still complete a registration form to guarantee your place at the events of your choice and so we have accurate attendance counts. Pre-registration allows us to have your tickets and registration packet ready for your arrival.
Online Registration When registering online for events requiring payment, we accept venmo, paypal, or credit/debit cards. These payments are powered by PayPal. You do not need to create a PayPal account to process your online payment. You may also register online and elect to send payment (mail a check or call the Alumni Office to process your credit card over the phone). Alternatively, we will always take your registration over the phone at 717-477-1218 Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM.
Registration Hours. Main registration is located in the Ceddia Union Building (CUB) second floor (Cumberland Dr. entrance). Hours: Friday, 11AM - 5PM and Saturday 8:30AM - 1:00PM. If you have lodging on campus and arrive Friday after 5:00PM, you may pick up your keys from our staff at Harley Hall between 5:30PM–7:30PM. After 7:30PM Friday and after 1:30PM Saturday, please check-in with Campus Police to pick up your room keys.
Notes on registration:
- Class of 1975 (50th) - if arriving after 3:30PM, registration packets may be picked up at the cocktail hour on Friday.
- If ONLY attending the GREEK Alumni Reunion, you may proceed directly to the reunion registration table outside Harley Hall for your wristband. No need to go to registration in the CUB.

Big Red's Cupboard & Raider Ready Professional Dress Closet (RRPDC)
Big Red’s Cupboard, our very own on-campus food pantry, is up and running but we need some help getting our shelves stocked for our students. Bring unopened and non-expired items for drop-off at the CUB Info Desk.
The RRPDC offers wardrobe options to all students as they prepare for interviews, internships, job shadow programs, and career/job fairs. Bring your gently used, professional clothing items, such as suits, dress pants, dress skirts, dress shirts and blouses, - there is an immediate need for small sizes, and neckties and bowties. Deposit clothing items in the designated bins outside the Career Center in the CUB room 108.
