Student Intern Responsibilities
- Satisfactorily meet the responsibilities and duties of the internship position as defined by the employer.
- Read an internship text (InternQube, by Michael True, ISBN: 978-0-615-46453-4 – available at the bookstore), which is designed to help prepare students for their internship experience. Submit a three- to five- page paper about the book to the faculty supervisor and the Assistant Dean no later than 2 weeks after the start of the internship.
- Maintain a daily log briefly describing the tasks, responsibilities, and work-related experiences and submit to faculty supervisor.
- Submit a one- to two- page summary of the job to assigned faculty supervisor by the first day of each month during the internship semester.
- Submit a three- to five- page summary report at the conclusion of the internship experience to both the faculty supervisor and the Assistant Dean.
- Complete an evaluation at the conclusion of the internship.
- Additional responsibilities are required for 6- and 9- credit (graded) internships.
