Computer Science Department Programs
Ship’s Computer Science Department offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, that is accredited by the CAC Accreditation Commission of ABET. The degree offers the option to concentrate in one of four areas. and The Department also offers a computer science minor and a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science program.
Career-driven concentration areas are bolstered by opportunities for student-faculty research projects and internships in software development and programming fields.

Department of Computer, Electrical, and Software Engineering Programs
The Department of Computer, Electrical, and Software Engineering’s bachelor’s degree programs are accredited by the EAC Accreditation Commission of ABET, and have an intradepartmental modality that allows students to collaborate with different department majors in classwork and projects.
The BS in Software Engineering program focuses on tools for developing quality programs, our BS in Electrical Engineering program deals with physical and communications systems and the BS in Computer Engineering program includes aspects of both, such as developing computer hardware as well as software.

Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Programs
Graduating from Ship’s BS in Civil Engineering or BS in Mechanical Engineering degree programs position students for careers as engineers right out of school. Learn how to effectively solve a wide range of engineering problems, and prepare to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certifying exam in preparation for further graduate education or entering the job market.

The Milton and Doreen Morgan Engineering Laboratory’s machinery and technology are updated every three years. Our state-of-the-art spaces are highly functional and specialized to each program’s needs.
