What Will I Learn?

Students learn the basic concepts in a variety of areas in psychology. Students learn about human behavior and gain skills to engage in psychological research, interviewing, problem-solving and computer applications.

What are the requirements for this degree?

Students in this program are required to take one course from each of the core areas:

  • Developmental
  • Social/personality
  • Abnormal
  • Neuroscience
  • Cognition/sensation and perception
  • Learning/behavior

In addition, each student will complete a capstone experience through one of the following ways: Internship, Advanced Research or the Capstone Class (PSY 379).
