Honors Living-Learning Community

The Wood Honors College Living-Learning Community (LLC) brings together the
Honors academic, community, and residential experiences.

Students take classes together, live on the Honors floor in the residence hall, and participate in meaningful extracurricular programs. Honors LLC students build strong relationships with their Honors peers as well as with Honors faculty and staff. Participating in the Honors LLC helps students maximize their undergraduate experience and achieve their personal, academic, and professional goals.

  • Gain an instant network of friends and mentors with upper-class students, staff, and faculty
  • Have a Resident Assistant (RA) who is an Honors student
  • Access enhanced academic and scholarship advising and priority course registration
  • Participate in a diverse array of Honors events, including field trips to New York and Washington, D.C., Pizza with a Prof, hiking trips, service projects, and more

“I think it is important for students within the Wood Honors College to get to know one another, and I think the Honors LLC is the best way to do that. It is a quiet, safe, convenient environment, and it is one of the most welcoming halls on campus.”
